How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts? The Script's music video (man who can't be moved) - Bright! - Stereotypical The Script I felt like it would be more appropriate to be brighter because it follows the conventions of The Script's music videos in which they are bright, even when singing about something sad. The only thing I feel I haven't followed completely was the general colour of the music video how it's a sad song so it should be dull and colourless. It is ordinary for some of the video to be in a brightly lit room to enhance the singing, which is what I have done too. Fade outs are very common too at the end of music videos, and I also used it in the middle of the music video to show a sudden change in pace. Jump cuts are in every professional music video, which I wanted to replicate. Mise-en-scene is used a lot, such as the homeless man's costume to show that he has no money because of the state he is in. It uses many different camera shots and angles which is common in all music videos and there is different camera movements, such as panning and tracking the subject. ![]() ![]() I feel that my music video follows the conventions of music videos. ![]()
